Viktor Nagy
You’re in the right place if your goal is to build a better life.
Over the years, I’ve helped more than 20 people get started on the path to learning programming.
On this page I have collected (am collecting):
- A presentation of my activities
- Description of my business
- My annual and monthly estimates
- My case studies
Education – Mentoring
Over the years, I have worked with many people, directly or indirectly. In most cases we worked with beginners who generally had no prior experience.
My goals have always been to clarify my thinking about the approach, to eliminate excuses and uncertainties. Following these conversations in a personalised way, though, the main guidelines were:
- design software and projects efficiently
- make decisions and draw certain boundaries in development
- break down complex functions into smaller components
- estimate the development time needed
- complete and present a project
GIVE MORE for free than others for money
Everything can be learned with time and effort.
My goal is to share my experiences with you through my writings and videos, so that you can progress faster and enjoy the challenges.
I can give you this assurance because I have tried and tested the things I write about. So I can tell you from experience that the ideas I’ve written here are useful and well thought out, to help you move faster.
year and month evaluators
From October 2023 onwards, I will regularly lead each day with the following guiding questions:
- main lesson of the day
- what did I do wrong
- what can be improved
I think that these evaluators give you an insight into my activities, you can see what I do on a daily basis, what progress is being made with new ideas.
project case studies
Many people cannot imagine how an IT (or any) project is built. In these descriptions, I will show you the process of managing a project, from the first questions to the completion of the product.
self-improvement
Over the years, I have developed a lot of self-development tutorials, most of which I have not documented because I didn’t think I would need them again. In hindsight, I consider this a big mistake, as you forget and a lot of information and good ideas can be lost. This is mainly why I document my activities and share them with you.
That’s why I’m focusing on this in part of this blog, because in most cases, it’s not the technical skills that are lacking to achieve results, but rather the TACIT skills that can only be acquired through practice. The more we practice, the better we get at it.
